      We know, it sounds obvious. But we’re constantly hearing stories of acts swapping in whoever’s available from their wider network. That’s not how we operate. If we say yes, it means the right version of us is available and locked in. We would rather turn down the gig than ever present a lineup that isn’t reflective of our brand and able to knock your event brief out of the park.

About Our Sound & AV

Many acts cut corners by mixing themselves or offering stripped-back PA systems that aren't actually big enough to fill the room and reach all of your guests. This can also mean failing to achieve a balanced sound, where the music may overpower dinner conversations or fall flat when it's meant to energise a dancefloor. Our AV technicians monitor and mix throughout the night, ensuring it's quieter in seated areas, the perfect volume when it's time to dance, and always tuned to the room.Every Kaleidoscope Dream Classic Band booking includes:

  • A dedicated sound engineer (not a multitasking guitarist)
  • Early bump-in and tuning of the PA to the room’s acoustics
  • Live mix adjustments based on crowd size (as bodies absorb sound, so it literally has to be louder to achieve optimal volume when there are more people in the room, and vice versa) and client requests
  • Professional lighting and AV

Our setups are designed so that guests can enjoy conversation during dinner or speeches, and then be fully immersed when it’s time to hit the dancefloor. Acts without dedicated AV technicians simply can’t match the precision or real-time control we bring. That’s the difference we deliver.
